NUMS Admissions in MBBS

NUMS Admissions start after the Conduction of the NUMS MDCAT Entry Test. Students have to Apply for admission in NUMS affiliated Medical and Dental colleges on the basis of Marks obtained in the Entry test, FSC and SSC.

NUMS Pattern

NUMS Entry Test consists of two parts, Subjective and Psychological.

• There shall be No Negative Marking.

NUMS Subjective (Part A)

• Shall carry 95% weightage of NUMS MDCAT
• Shall consist of 150 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs)
• Stipulated time of 150 minutes
• Biology – 35 %
• Chemistry – 25 %
• Physics – 25 %
• English – 10 %

NUMS Psychological (Part B)

• Shall carry 5% weightage of MDCAT (NUMS)
• Shall consist of 100 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs)
• stipulated time of 30 minutes.

NUMS Aggregate Formula

Students can calculate their NUMS Aggregate from the Following below

• SSC or Equivalent Marks = 10%
• FSC or Equivalent Marks = 40%
• NUMS MDCAT Entry Test Marks = 50%
