NUMS Medical Colleges Admissions: Eligibility & Criteria
Admissions into National University of Medical Sciences (NUMS)-affiliated medical and dental colleges for MBBS and BDS programs are conducted through a centralized admission process managed by NUMS for its constituent, affiliated, and Armed Forces administered medical institutions across Pakistan. To be eligible, candidates must have completed F.Sc (Pre-Medical) or equivalent with at least 60% aggregate marks in Biology, Chemistry and either Physics or Mathematics. Additionally, passing the NUMS MDCAT is mandatory—candidates must score minimum 55% for MBBS and 50% for BDS for eligibility under open merit or foreign seats. This standard applies to both Pakistani citizens (including AJK & GB) and overseas applicants, and foreign qualifications like A-Levels require an IBCC equivalence certificate.
