Closing Merit
The final closing merit (aggregate score threshold) for the session is now available. For example:
- BS Computer Science closed at 88.26%
- Artificial Intelligence at 87.69%
- Cyber Security at 86.74%
- Data Science at 86.52%
- Software Engineering (Non‑Engineering) at 87.2%
Lower-demand programs included Accounting & Finance (≈63%), Electronics & Computing (≈66%), Business Data Analytics (≈73%), and other streams like Economics, Psychology, Media, English, Biosciences, and Mathematics closing between 50–56%
Merit Calculation Formula
Merit is calculated using COMSATS’ weighted formula:
- 10% Matric marks
- 40% Intermediate (FSC/A‑Level)
- 50% NAT/NTS test scores
