Comsat University Merit Lists

COMSATS University Islamabad released its undergraduate merit lists. The merit lists covered a range of BS programs across disciplines. The 1st Merit List included top‑ranked fields like Computer Science, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Cyber Security, Data Sciences, Electronics & Computing, Physics, Business Administration, Accounting & Finance, Business Data Analytics, Psychology, International Relations, English, Media & Communications Studies, Economics (with & without Data Science), Mathematics (with & without Data Science), Bioinformatics, Biosciences, Chemistry, and Physics

Closing Merit
The final closing merit (aggregate score threshold) for the session is now available. For example:

  • BS Computer Science closed at 88.26%
  • Artificial Intelligence at 87.69%
  • Cyber Security at 86.74%
  • Data Science at 86.52%
  • Software Engineering (Non‑Engineering) at 87.2%

Lower-demand programs included Accounting & Finance (≈63%), Electronics & Computing (≈66%), Business Data Analytics (≈73%), and other streams like Economics, Psychology, Media, English, Biosciences, and Mathematics closing between 50–56%

Merit Calculation Formula
Merit is calculated using COMSATS’ weighted formula:

  • 10% Matric marks
  • 40% Intermediate (FSC/A‑Level)
  • 50% NAT/NTS test scores
    Students can compute their aggregate via the PLS Website merit calculator on the admissions portal
