AKU Pattern

AKU test is divided in to 02 portions. Science Portion includes Biology, Physics, and Chemistry and the Reasoning portion includes Sciences Reasoning and Mathematics reasoning

  • Total Time for AKU test = 2 hours
  • Total MCQs in AKU = 100 MCQs
  • Biology Portion = 20 MCQs 
  • Chemistry Portion = 20 MCQs 
  • Physics Portion = 20 MCQs 
  • Science Reasoning Portion = 20 MCQs 
  • Math Reasoning Portion = 20 MCQs

There is a Negative marking for Science subjects such as every wrong answer will deduct 0.25 marks but no negative marking reasoning type MCQs. 

AKU Important Instructions

  • The candidates must reach their respective centers at least two hours before the commencement of the test
  • The candidates must bring the following items with them on the exam day:
    • AKU admit cards/ Roll number Slip
    • Original Form “B” or CNIC or Passport/NICOP.
    • Calculators, Mobile phones, smartwatches, and other electronic gadgets are not allowed in the AKU examination hall.
